WAYS TO BE A GOOD GIRL !

If you can stand up for yourself,
and not let people walk all over you.
If you can say your manners,
and never forget please and thank you.
If you can follow the dress code at WHS,
and never have more than 4 fingers above the chest.

If you can say the truth, and not hold back
If you can cross your legs, while wearing a skirt,
these are all some ways to be a good girl.

If you can stop yourself from doing wrong,
or not flip out when you forget to put your mascara on.
If you can make new friends,
without improving yourself.

If you can say what you feel, while trying to heal,
or stop and think about what you want to be.
These are all ways to be a good girl.

What Lily and Jake Had to Say *continued*

I walked back to the classroom, and nothing changed. Stares, and looks is what I got. Cindy Lou, one of the prettiest girls in the grade, looked at me in the eyes. I didn't know if she wanted to laugh at me, or if she felt bad. She was always known for being stuck up. I couldn't hate her, cause we've never talked before, but I cherished her light brown eyes. She had the eyes that I've always wanted, the ones that stuck out with a tint of eyeliner.
I went and sat back down in my seat in the corner. I absolutely hated the yellow desk, that held nothing but my one book. Mrs. Colin went on talking about the revolutionary war, and I could care less about it. They teach us the same thing over and over again, and expect us to care. I laid my head upon my sweatshirt, that I've owned nearly since I was 7 years old.
The bell rang, and I went to go get lunch. Emily wasn't there, so I sat alone at the picnic table. I watched the boys play basketball, and chase the ball around on the courts. I wanted to ask them to play, but they'd probably say no, and I didnt want the embarrassment. Instead, I sat there eating my apple and watched the clouds go by. " What if I was cloud? Float on by when things get tough." That'd be the day I thought to myself.
I got up, walked to the trashcan, and made my way back to the school.

*to be continued.*
